RESUME

THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART
From 1989 until 2010, I took many of my Dowling College English and Humanities classes to The Met to experience the wonders of great art.  I continue to support the Museum and pay much-needed visits with friends whenever I'm in New York City. Please visit "Some Met Museum Favorites" on this website for some of my personal, treasured pieces.

THE COLLECTION:  Have a field day!  Click on this link, and you’ll be able to access over 400,000 works of art in the museum’s vast permanent collections.  It’s an art lover’s candy shop: http://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection

THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART
For many years, I took my classes to MoMA to explore art related to their twentieth century literature and humanities classes. During my own formative years, MoMA fueled my imagination and became the inspiration for much of my own art. Please go to "Some MoMA Favorites" on this website.

THE WHITNEY MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART
The new Whitney at the southern end of the High Line Park is one of the architectural treasures of New York. Please visit "Some Whitney Favorites" on this website to explore some pieces from the permanent collection that particularly inspire me.

THE PORTLAND ART MUSEUM
The Portland Art Museum is an excellent regional institution with solid collections of Northwest Coast artists, contemporary art, and Asian art. Please visit "Portland Art Favorites" to explore some of the works that fuel my imagination.
